Double Braid Polyester (Dacron) is ideal for winch or boom trucks as it has less stretch than nylon, absorbs less moisture & has better abrasion resistance than nylon. Because of its braided construction, it won't rotate under load. Our lines are supplied with small, covered or dipped 4" eyes both ends so the line can be flipped to increase its life as most of the wear is on the first 50'.
It is best where low stretch is desired like utility boom trucks as often low headroom is an issue and is less conductive than nylon in case it gets wet.
